What We Do

The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County is an Accredited Economic Development Organization charged with bringing new job-generating investments to the community while assisting existing business in their efforts to expand. The Business Development Board's economic development programs and services are partially funded through a contract with the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners. Additional funds are raised from private industry though membership dues and events.

Our Services Include

The services of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County are offered free of charge to businesses interested in expanding or relocating:

• Site descriptions on available industrial buildings, land and office space are provided through our state-of-the-art computerized tracking system
• Site tours personally conducted by our Business Recruitment and Expansion Staff.
• Access to financial incentives offered by the county and state
• Utility, communication and transportation services and rates
• Information on zoning, permitting and governmental processes
• Demographics and labor market information
• Access to training programs
• Liaison with Enterprise Florida for state grants/assistance
• Introductions to state and local leaders in business and government
• Introductions to banks, law firms, employment agencies, accounting firms and all other appropriate suppliers
• Technical presentations tailored to company's specific location requirements
• Review of available housing and housing costs
• Presentations on cost of living, transportation, housing, recreation and the arts
• Coordination with county/municipal governments
• Identification of Business Incentives
• Research Services
• Information on local buyers and suppliers
